Brush Fire Near Vandenberg AFB

Santa Barbara County fire crews responded to Highway 135 just south of Orcutt for a roadside brush fire at 12:44 p.m. Saturday. They found approximately 1/2 an acre to be burning in light fuel. 

Crews were able to get the fire under control within 30 minutes. Aircraft and dozers were cancelled on scene. 

The cause is under investigation.
