Anthem Dropping ACA Plans for 2018

Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield announced it will be dropping Affordable Care Act (Covered California) plans in the tri-county area for 2018.

I received an email stating my individual health insurance plan will be canceled as soon as 2018 starts because “uncertainty in the health insurance market does not provide the clarity and confidence we need to offer affordable coverage to our members in 2018.”

Do edhatters know if Blue Shield will still be available or what other healthcare plans will be offered under Covered California for 2018? And what will local providers and hospitals accept?
