Friends pulled a dead mountain lion out of the roadway yesterday in the Gaviota Pass area. Still waiting for more details but this would be the seventh one killed in the area in the past 3-4 years. Fish and Wildlife notified and waiting to hear whether they removed the body. The holiday means we won’t know until tomorrow probably. If anyone knows more please share.
So sad. So VERY sad. A bridge is needed for wildlife. Such majestic sentient beings like mountain lions are having a hard time w/ so many cars.
