New Ice Cream Store on Mesa?

Does anyone know anything about a new ice cream parlor opening on the Mesa?
I saw a sign for a store called "Sweeties" opening in the area and looking for help but I can't find anything online about it and I'm not sure where they'd be opening. Do edhat readers have the "scoop?" (hehe, get it??)

In February 2021 I wrote that a rumor was circulating that Chris Chiarappa from Mesa Burger on Meigs Road plans to open an ice cream shop across the street next to the Cliff Room. Last July I updated the story with an address: 1826A Cliff Drive, the former home of Santa Barbara Shabbos Services. Reader Gene let me know that the new eatery will be named Sweetie’s and that an opening might occur in the next two weeks."
