Multiple Restaurants Launch in Santa Barbara
Santa Barbara’s dining scene continues to expand with the opening of Manifattura at 413 State Street, the second project from the team behind Aperitivo Wine Bar, previously reported by Edhat on November 18.
The restaurant’s name, meaning “manufacturing” and “made by hand” in Italian, reflects its focus on handmade pasta and traditional dishes. The menu includes ragus, agnolotti, and slow-simmered sauces, paired with an all-Italian wine list.
Bistro Amasa also recently opened in Santa Barbara. Located at 1404 De La Vina Street inside the historic Upham Hotel, the restaurant began serving modern American fare on November 14, as first reported by Edhat on November 11.
Bistro Amasa is the sister restaurant of Barbareño, a Michelin-recognized establishment in Santa Barbara. Founded by Julian Martinez and Jesse Gaddy, the restaurant will operate Wednesday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Little Mountain joined Santa Barbara’s dining scene on November 6, 2025, opening in Montecito’s Upper Village at 516 San Ysidro Road, the former home of Montecito Wine Bistro & Bar, Edhat previously reported.
The restaurant features intimate dining spaces inspired by Spanish Colonial homes and offers dishes such as oysters, Santa Barbara urchin, wild salmon, and coal-roasted chicken.
