Santa Barbara has a new convenience store and restaurant. Bodega Flower Girl has soft-opened near the corner of State and Gutierrez Streets.
Bodega Flower Girl is a chef-curated farmers market and a specialty convenience store or bodega, according to its Instagram page. The store also has a six-seater restaurant.
In a recent Instagram post, the store shared that it has soft opened and is open most days from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

The post included a video of the owner, Emma West Roldan, arranging a bouquet inside the empty, sun-lit store.
Bodega Flower Girl focuses on “supporting organic, regenerative, and family-owned farmers,” it mentioned in another Instagram post.
Among the items on offer is the bodega salad, which is composed of local fresh, organic fruits, nuts and vegetables.
“The bodega salads are our most authentic representation version of flowers,” the store shared in a post on December 7, 2025.
In an Instagram story, Bodega Flower Girl shared a video of a salad consisting of golden beets, butternut squash, fennel, carrot, Lil Gem, Tuscan kale, hazelnuts, blueberries, and dill drizzled with apple balsamic vinegar and olive oil.

In another story, the store shared a picture of the Bodega Box, which consists of whipped tahini, vinegar, purple daikon, crispy tofu, pepita, dried cherry, pickled onion, kale, and roasted cruciferous vegetables.
In addition to the salads, the store also serves groceries, flowers, vegan and cheese-prepared foods, and gigante beans, according to Siteline. Customers can also get a fresh, new type of sandwich with the sandwich of the day.
For those with a sweet tooth, Bodega Flower Girl serves chocolate chip cookies, matcha tarts, and candies, among other items.
Bodega Flower Girl is run by Roldan, the former executive chef of Satellite in downtown Santa Barbara. She shared a similar culinary vision at the restaurant.
Satellite is a farmer-to-table or farmer-to-glass restaurant and wine shop that focuses on ethically sourced, environmentally beneficial agricultural products, according to its website.
Roldan laid the foundation for Satellite’s farmers market menu, and showcased Santa Barbara’s seasonal harvests, based on her expertise in the area, the website added.
