How to Watch ‘No Signs of Nancy’
Woodrum, a Paso Robles resident, was reported missing for seven months. Titled “No Sign of Nancy,” the episode is part of Harlan Coben’s Final Twist series.
The episode premiered on January 20, 2026, at 8 p.m. on CBS. Viewers who missed the broadcast can stream it on Paramount+, which is available to U.S. audiences.
Woodrum was reported missing on May 5, 2018, after family members were unable to locate her at her Paso Robles residence. The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office launched an extensive investigation that included Search and Rescue teams. Despite ground and aerial searches, authorities were initially unable to locate her.
The investigation remained active for several months as detectives worked to determine what had happened to Woodrum. During that time, investigators conducted numerous interviews with individuals who may have had contact with Woodrum. The case took a major turn when forensic evidence provided investigators with a critical lead.
In November 2018, after approximately seven months of investigation, detectives identified Carlo Alberto Fuentes Flores as a suspect in the case. He was arrested in December 2018 after investigators gathered sufficient forensic evidence to make an arrest.
According to investigators, Flores confessed to the crime and was determined to have acted alone. Following an interview with investigators, Flores led authorities to the remains of Nancy Woodrum in a rural area of eastern San Luis Obispo County.
On January 20, 2022, District Attorney Dan Dow announced that Flores had been convicted of murdering Nancy Woodrum following a court trial. Superior Court Judge Timothy Covello presided over the trial and found true the special circumstance that the murder occurred during the commission or attempted commission of rape.
Flores was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The series is hosted by Coben, a New York Times bestselling author known for his mystery novels. The documentary series explores real-life murder cases and high-profile crimes through interviews and investigative detail. Through interviews and archival footage, the series provides viewers with insight into complex criminal investigations.
