Engine up at East Camino Cielo, Gilbraltar, extra engine Brush truck in the Mission Canyon Area.. These engines are on patrol in these areas.

We have VERY strong winds from the north and VERY strong smell of smoke on our ranch which is located between El Capitan State Beach and Refugio State Beach

Multiple Calls of Smoke in the Front Country

Saying noticeable smell of smoke around Hollister Ranch and Calle Mariposa Reina. Dispatch advising that SLO County Fire had a garbage/rubbish fire near Hwy 166 & Hwy 101, still smoldering. There was also prescribed burns in the county.

Interesting. Got word that the source may actually be from the almond hill fire up in Fresno, and the winds are pushing the smoke all the way down here. This is just speculation however
