A multi-vehicle crash struck a power pole in northern Santa Barbara County on Tuesday morning.
California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that five vehicles collided on Foxen Canyon Road, east of Santa Maria.
The crash struck a power pole causing power lines to fall and shut off power in the area.
CHP initiated a road closure between Santa Maria Mesa and Dominion. The road will be closed until later Tuesday afternoon.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the CHP. It’s unclear if there were any injuries.
