Mountain Lion Spotted in Samarkand

I've been very surprised in my San Roque neighborhood below Foothill that we haven't seen coyotes. I do hear them singing in the foothills in the late night/early morning.
I'm pretty sure everyone knows by now not to let their pets of any size outside at night. At least I hope so. 2 cats and 2 dogs were taken on my street in the same year around 2014.
Be careful, all. But do put out some water for the birds. (yes, the opossums, skunks, and raccoons will also drink it. I for one appreciate them.)
