A motorhome fire caused substantial damage Sunday afternoon in an unincorporated area of Santa Barbara near Hollister Avenue and Modoc Road.
According to PulsePoint, the vehicle fire was reported at 1:33 p.m. Sunday, July 5, at 222 Nogal Drive. Multiple fire units responded to the scene.
Local photographer Fritz Olenberger captured photos of the aftermath and reported that Santa Barbara County firefighters were spraying water onto a motorhome behind 188 Nogal Drive shortly before 2:00 p.m.

“Several windows are blackened or missing, suggesting the fire caused substantial damage inside,” Olenberger said of the scene.
As of the latest update, most units had been cleared from the scene while a few remained for mop-up operations.
The cause of the fire has not been reported. No injuries have been reported at this time.
