A motorcyclist triggered a messy chain-reaction crash on the 14 freeway in Santa Clarita on Wednesday after clipping the back end of a sedan in the carpool lane, reports The Los Angeles Times.

Video captured by a motorist depicted a motorcyclist kicking a sedan which then veered into the freeway divider before losing control, cutting into traffic, and causing a truck to rollover.

The motorcyclist continued to ride off without stopping. The California Highway Patrol classified the incident a hit and run and they're now searching for the motorcyclist.

The driver of the sedan was uninjured and the driver of the truck suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Video of the incident is below:

I don't think road rage gives a person a right to retaliate. Sure was a bad decision in this case, someone could have been killed in the accident. A man was shot dead in a Buellton parking lot some years ago because of rage, he followed a guy until he stopped, went over to give him a piece of his mind, or whatever, and was shot. Certainly not worth it.

My guess is the car absolutely was start of the incident, but the motorcyclist is pretty crazy to be kicking the car on the freeway. However the person in the car clearly tried to knock the motorcyclist out and the guy on the motorcycle did an excellent job of handling his bike. Kicking a car on a motorcycle is maybe simple battery, trying to run the motorcycle into the guard rail is assault with a deadly weapon. Eat some karma baby!

I'm sorry but I'm gonna say this may be karma at its finest. What we don't see is what caused the cyclists to try and kick that car. People on motorcycles do not just go around kicking cars. Plus the cycle was only one unaffected. So I'm gonna say that the car is at fault for causing a chain reaction since he tried to bump the cyclist of his bike and ended up losing control. I feel most sorry for the SUV/ Truck that had nothing to do with this road rage. He or she is probably really angry. There is two sides to this but our videographer only got one side.
