Seriously??? Bickering about roadway names when the story here is about a fatal accident? So much for compassion. RIP.

Yeah cold harded folks on here talking like that. It wouldn't be the case if it weren't so anonymous.

All LE groups try to keep emergency radio traffic brief and responders don't have to deal with 3 or 4 names for the same highway. Maybe you'd prefer calling 101, Screaming Eagles Highway and 154, Chumash Highway; aka El Camino Real and San Marcos Pass Rd. which could totally screw up response times in an emergency.

Apparently, the cross street for 192, aka EVR, is Glen Oaks Drive, according to the CHP, as Roger reported. You can check it in your browser.

Adding "the" in front of numbered highways is actually a regional dialect thing and is common elsewhere. Whatever keeps you smiling, 9:54.

Isn't it just easier to call it East Valley Road, which is its given name? Whoever thinks of it as 192—or THE 192, which I find hysterical.

If it's relevant to you then you would know that East Valley Road is part if the 192 in that section. Do you need a better description, like mile markers or house colors? If you've driven that street on a regular basis you would know.
