A motorcyclist sustained injuries in a traffic collision with a vehicle on Highway 154 on Saturday.
Santa Barbara County Firefighters responded to a report of a vehicle crash at 3:52 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 154 and Painted Cave.
Crews discovered a motorcyclist and SUV collided with the motorcyclist, a 71-year-old male, sustaining moderate injuries.
The motorcyclist was transported by a ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital with two County firefighter-paramedics on board.
The solo driver of the SUV declined treatment and transport.
Highway 154 was closed for less than an hour. The cause is under investigation by CHP.
