Motorcyclist Down on Turnpike

Roger, I want to get this off my chest. That corner, Turnpike/Hollister, dangerous for people waiting for the bus. Coming from the freeway, going south on Turnpike, if you make a left at Hollister, the arc of the turn could go all bad for anyone standing there waiting for a bus. Cars and trucks often make that turn a contest about how fast they can make the turn and still maintain control of the vehicle. So there, I said it. Many children from the high school use that stop.

It's also stressful going south on Hollister past Turnpike because for some reason the street lanes are not lined up so when you cross through the intersection and you're on the other side of Turnpike going towards Santa Barbara you've got to jostle to the left. Add in high school aged drivers and parents doing drop offs and we are all lucky that there aren't more accidents there. Parents dropping off and pulling back into traffic and across all lanes to u turn at turnpike are especially fun. I've always wondered why people think it's ok to drive in a way that's a danger to other people's kids once they've dumped their own kids off at school?
