By Southern California Edison
Southern California Edison (SCE) is continuing to complete construction work as part of its Mission Canyon Stream Restoration Project. Part of the construction work will involve the intermittent use of helicopters in the lower Tunnel Trail area.
The helicopters will assist in the removal of debris and sidecast material, and the restoration of the natural habitat. At no time will helicopters fly over any residence in the area while carrying materials. SCE will notify the local community if the helicopter work needs to be extended for any reason.
Public Safety: during this time, we ask community members not to fly drones to protect the safety of pilots while they perform the helicopter work.
If you have questions or would like more information about the Stream Restoration Project, please contact the Mission Canyon SCE Information Line at 805-654-7223 or visit sce.com/missioncanyon.
