Construction activities are ongoing on the Road Repair Project and will continue through the end of fall 2020.
Trail closures are necessary in the immediate area due to the nature of the work, including the use of heavy construction equipment, as well as the need to complete the work ahead of seasonal rains. Affected trails in the immediate areas were continuously closed from September 21 – October 30, with active construction activities taking place Monday – Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Starting Saturday, October 31, the trails will be open for recreational access most weekends and holidays (open from sunrise on Saturday mornings to sunset on Sunday evenings).
Continuous trail closures will continue in effect Monday – Friday, as construction activities will continue until the end of Fall, with staff working onsite Monday – Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
