Missing Adult Safely Located

Juana Lopez Bautista was located by SMPD Detectives on 6-15-20, at around 10 pm. She is safe and it was determined she had voluntarily left the area.

The Santa Maria Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing adult-at risk. Juana Lopez Bautista (23 yrs. of age) was last seen on Sunday, 6/14/2020, at about 8 am. Lopez went to do laundry at The Laundry Room, 600 N. Broadway, at about 11 am. It is believed she then went to a local (unknown) grocery store.

At about 7 pm, Lopez’s vehicle, a 2001 Kia Sportage (small SUV), was found abandoned near Jim May Park, 809 Stanford (Santa Maria). Family members and police have been unable to contact Lopez by phone, which is out of character for her. Lopez is considered to be Missing-At Risk as she has no historical pattern of running away or disappearing.
