Election night’s test launch of a Minuteman III missile took off from Vandenberg Air Force Base.
The unarmed missile lifted off at 11:01 pm PST towards a target in the Central Pacific Ocean near Kwajalein Island.
In the center of the frame, the last stage can be made out as a series of red dots as it falls back to earth.
