Does anyone have experience with Mint Mobile?

They sure have bargain rates, but how is their performance/reliability/service?

Mint Mobile Experience?

i have and have used Boost in town for about 10 years. I flipped to mint for a few months and ended up going back to boost....it's the same service type. you are paying less and piggy back on a major carriers towers. Boost uses Sprint towers and Mint uses another brands towers. I noticed that my signal was slightly stronger with Boost vs Mint. Mint seems to have incredible deals, but for me and where i am in town (downtown, harbor, SBCC), Boost seemed to work better (which isnt saying much...)

Just checked their webpage. Boost uses TMobile. Same as Mint Mobile. I've heard that different phones might give you different results. I've used Mint for several years without any problems using a OnePlus 6. Before that, I had a Motorola phone with not so good signals using TMobile directly.

Mint uses T-Mobile service, which is horrible in this town.

Ting's $10/mo. works quite well for us. We switched from VZW that was nearly $100 for two phones with very light data use, and oddly Ting's VZW option (they also offer T-Mob for the same rate) often gets better VZW signal than the 10x more money than we'd been paying VZW directly. The data is extra, but also very cheap if you don't use much. We've traveled the West coast w/Ting now and never had a problem, even at 6,500 feet above ground. Consumer Reports gave them a high rating, and they actually have a thing called Service! Very helpful and well-informed online and phone help, without the endless waiting we "enjoyed" with VZW.

I use Mint (which uses T-Mobile towers). Reception in Santa Barbara is mediocre, but acceptable for me. Mint's cost is the clincher (I am a cheapskate).
