Milpas Holiday Parade on December 10

By the Santa Barbara Eastside Society

The Santa Barbara Eastside Society is sponsoring the 68th Annual Milpas Holiday Parade on Saturday, December 10th, from 5:30-7:30 pm, on the Milpas Street corridor.  The parade begins at De La Guerra Street and finishes at Mason Street.

The year’s theme is Surfing Santa, so please wear your best Hawaiian outfit.

Featured in the parade is Santa Barbara High School Band and La Cumbre and Santa Barbara Junior High Bands.  There will also be dancers, floats and of course Santa Clause and the Grinch.  Picture taking will be available.
The parade drew over 1500 people last year and promises to be another grand event.  Businesses will be open to the public.

We encourage people to come early as some side streets will be closed to through traffic.   For more information on registration, please go to sbeastside.org/events.
