Military Airplanes at Santa Barbara Airport?

I am working out in Goleta just next to the Santa Barbara Airport. I just saw 3 or more military aircraft taking off out of SBA heading west (approx. 11am this morning). They appeared to be older planes with circular discs on top of the fuselage. Do you have anyone else reporting these take offs? Do you have any information on what they are doing?
