Emergency responders were on the scene of a medical call at Circle Bar B Stables off Refugio Road on Wednesday.
Around 10:00 a.m. there was a report of a female falling off a horse and sustaining serious injuries.
Santa Barbara County Fire and Calstar helicopter responded. The female was airlifted from the stables to the SB Airport, then shuttled by a ground ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
I heard her condition was updated to be mild to moderate injuries but unclear if that has since been updated.
No further information was heard on the scanner.
I hope she is OK! Circle Bar B is such a fun place to ride and has so much history here. I hope this doesn’t stop them running the horse rides.
