  1. I’m in Buellton and power went out, heard due to lines arcing. Then heard fire near Jonata Park rd with PG&E estimated resolution time of 6:45 pm and 728 residents affected. It’s 4:05 and our power seems to have just started to come back on.. *knock on wood* have not heard anything about 101/154 fire yet however I did just hear a series of sirens pass by my house on the 246…Hoping things will settle down.

  2. There are more engines responding I would think they are trying to stop the foward progress I don’t know if it is worse Northbound 101 is closed. I’m just thinking what happened back in 1990 the fire came down the hill and split Goleta and Santa Barbara or Noleta If you want to go, go…but if the SB was to close where would you go to another Hotel North bound…I would just kick back but if you fear being trapped maybe you should go.

  3. CALICHRIS10 – Stay put. The roads will be heavy with commuter traffic but you won’t get trapped in Solvang. Buellton is miles away. They said power should be back on at 7:45pm for Solvang so go get some ice cream but don’t worry about it. It will be much safer to leave later than when everyone is trying to get home after work.
