March Marvels
Scroll through the above photos
By John Wiley
Flying into SBA during Wednesday's brief break in welcome rain, we relished the clear air and brilliant colors. Distant peaks were brilliant white with fresh snow as our charred front range shows even more new growth. Looking toward home past Summerland, the brilliant sky and deep blue offshore yielded to rich Spring green. Tangerine Falls was dancing down the crisp rain-washed rocks. SBHS sported sharp green and a school emblem in the new stadium. Can you imagine a more magnificent home? Is there a better way to celebrate our marvelous March delay in drought and fire season, than to be out basking in our local paradise?

Mar 22, 2020 08:04 AMReminds me of the opening line of a Psalm I learned in childhood which I took very literally at the time. Mountains still feel like "my help", especially when they put on a show in weary times.
