ANSWER

This was a tricky one for some players who identified the correct artist, but not the art piece or location. Dan Chrynko is a mosaic magician with pieces that can be found all over town. Several players were tripped up by the colors and stars and incorrectly identified the above image as being located in Rocky Nook Park.

Alas, these “Celestial Bookends” are located in front of Marshalls (former Border’s Bookstore) at 900 State Street in Santa Barbara.
