ANSWER

Today’s answer is the historic Santa Barbara Amtrak Train Station at 209 State Street in Santa Barbara.

Built in 1902 by the Southern Pacific Railroad and designed by architect Francis W. Wilson was last renovated in 2000. The station was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on August 2, 2006.

But if the station was built in 1902, why is the year 1905 significant and placed on the building?
