ANSWER
If you noticed the pink color surrounding the historic bells, it might have been easy to pinpoint the location of today’s photo hunt. Congrats to all of you who correctly guessed the bell tower at the La Purisima Mission located at 2295 Purisima Road in Lompoc. We also accepted the original Mission’s name of Misión la Purísima Concepción de María Santísima. Founded on December 8, 1787, it was the eleventh of 21 Franciscan Missions established in “Alta California.” Today it’s part a historic state park in Lompoc and is considered to be the most fully restored mission in California.
