I’m the man who was fun over by his truck on 9/4/19. I’m recovering at home and have 3 hip fractures, a broken rib and a laceration to my right knee. The doctors say I will make a full recovery in 8 weeks, I feel very lucky and fortunate to be alive and only suffered the few injuries that I have.

The Santa Barbara County Fire Department has confirmed the man was hit by his own vehicle.

Upon arrival fire crews located a single patient, a male in his early 50’s, was involved in an incident where his own vehicle rolled over him. It’s unclear how and is under investigation, states Captain Daniel Bertucelli.

The man sustained significant traumatic injuries and was transported to the hospital via air ambulance.

  1. This reminds me of Anton Yelchin’s horrific demise. He was the actor who played “Chekov” in the newer Star Trek movies. He got out of his vehicle and “Yelchin, 27, was killed when his car rolled backward down his steep driveway and pinned him to a brick mailbox pillar and a security fence.” The cause of death was traumatic asphyxiation.
