Watched the movie ‘Casino’ too many times….LOL
Lucky he didn’t kill the guy. Easily could have severed the carotid artery on the left side or the jugular vein on the right. He needs to spend some time behind bars 100%. This happened right next to PATH, drugs/mental illness(possibly)most likely played a factor. While serving his time hopefully he addresses his life’s “needs”. Glad the victim is OK physically ??
This all seems like an April Fool’s Day joke!
So now the police classify ball point pens as “deadly weapons”.
Does that mean we are all subject to arrest for carrying “deadly weapons”?
Soon our legislature will be passing laws outlawing “assault pens”.
Resident – I will guess any item used in a manner that could cause death can be considered a “deadly weapon.”
RESIDENT – You’re kidding, right?
Doulie is correct. Yeah, Dools, you got this one right ?
I mean, is a kitchen knife a deadly weapon? A bottle? A brick? A baseball bat? I get what you are saying, but maybe they say something is a deadly weapon when it is being used with intent to injure or kill?
Would you prefer “stabbed with an object repurposed for violence”?
Like, what language would make you happy here?
You’re talking to someone who, in another context, would insist that a handgun is merely a tool, so don’t expect much.
Another horrible incident at PATH. Drugs being sold and used openly. Overdoses. Assaults happening all the time and just general mayhem in that neighborhood. All because of poor management at PATH and letting it become like the wild west there. The place needs new management and more oversight of where the dollars are going.
