Incident: Robbery with Arrest
Location: Ventura Community Park – 901 S. Kimball Rd.

Suspect(s): Jeremy Wald 34 yrs. – Los Angeles resident

Narrative:
On July 9, 2025, at about 3:34 pm, the Ventura Police Department Communications Center received a 9-1-1 call from a victim reporting that he had just been robbed while walking at Ventura Community Park.

Ventura Police Patrol Officers responded to the park and learned that the victim was walking on the west side of the park when the suspect approached him and began punching and kicking him. The suspect then forcefully took the victim’s headphones and fled.

Responding officers arrived within two minutes and located the suspect near the intersection of Ramelli Avenue and Telephone Road. The officers detained the suspect and positively identified him as the person who committed the robbery. The victim’s headphones were found nearby in the park and returned to the victim. The victim sustained minor injuries from the robbery.

The suspect was arrested for robbery and elder abuse and was booked at the Ventura County Jail.

Evidence indicated that the suspect lives and works in Los Angeles and was in Ventura for the day as part of his employment.
