Mail Delivery Issues?

By an edhat reader

We’ve run into a troubling problem with the USPS, and it’s not mail theft from our mailbox. You see, we subscribe to USPS Informed Delivery, so we can see which pieces of mail we should be receiving, at least within the next few days. We have an alarm on our mailbox. The entire neighborhood can hear it when our mail gets delivered (and they can dash out and collect theirs too). We work from home, so we retrieve our mail immediately. Well, the past month or so, our important financial mail has been disappearing from this chain of events. We see that it is coming and we wait for it to be delivered. It never arrives – not late, not ever. We aren’t having trouble getting our junk mail. This arrives like clockwork. It’s just our financial accounts and information. We’ve tried to go paperless yet we still get some mail, for example, W-2s. Now we’re getting worried, and are suspecting foul play within the USPS. Does anybody know where the mail gets scanned? Our nearest post office is at 107 Nopalitos Way – 93103. I was wondering if anybody else was experiencing this problem?

  1. The Postmaster General Trump installed to screw up mail delivery during the election did his job perfectly, and still has it. Unless your problems pre-date 2016, which I doubt. Biden has to put his nominees on the Board before they can fire him because the existing ones are Trumpers. The ill effects of his Presidency will be with us for quite some time.
