Magnificent Coast!

We got some especially magnificent aerial views of Isla Vista, UC Santa Barbara, and Goleta from our magic carpet in Friday's clean air. Looking toward the West we could see clear to Point Conception. Campus Point was alive with the colors of life from our rain. Devereux was still spilling mud like all the creeks, and it added variety to the dappled light and well-fed kelp mingling with a riot of greens and blues. What a day to be alive and aloft in our town!

Mar 27, 2018 03:34 PMThat is a cool perspective of the restoration at Campus Point (to the right/east of the loop). That orangish stuff is all iceplant. The green is restored habitat.
