A rare property for sale, the estate was originally built in 1971 and has been owned by the same family for more than 50 years, according to the listing.
The single-story house enjoys privacy and seclusion from its neighbors as the property includes two adjoining parcels totaling nearly 2.8 acres, offering sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean and Channel Islands, and sits on a private road.

The property has a historic permit for its roofing from August 1999, according to Redfin.

Santa Barbara Housing Market
The housing market in Santa Barbara is “somewhat competitive,” according to Redfin. Home prices have been declining, the realtor noted, with the median sale price of a home $1.8 million in October, down 10.4% from 2024.
On average, homes in the city sell after 46 days on the market, compared to 48 days last year.
This October, 52 homes were sold, up from 42 in October 2024, Redfin noted.
The typical home value in Santa Barbara is around $1.78 million, down 1.9% from 2024, according to Zillow.
