At 11:38pm felt a rocking earthquake here in Santa Barbara. There was an earthquake in South El Monte that registered 4.6 magnitude on the Richter scale and lasted a few seconds off and on. I am watching KCAL 9 right now, breaking news, just heard an interview with Dr. Lucy Jones about this quake.

Per Dr. Lucy, the earthquake was in the same area as the Whittier Narrows Earthquake in 1987, which was much bigger at a 5.9 magnitude. Per Dr. Jones, will probably be a few 1.6 to 2.0+ magnitude aftershocks in that area over the next few hours. Per another interview now on KCAL, someone felt it in Ontario. Anyone else feel this here?
