The announcement was shared through the restaurant’s official social media accounts.

The owners described their Milpas location as a “little hidden gem” that grew through the loyalty of the community, calling the farewell “bittersweet” and reflecting on the friendships and memories created over the years.
“As a family-owned and operated business, our time on Milpas has meant more to us than words can express. Watching our little hidden gem grow and thrive because of your love and loyalty has been an absolute privilege,” the restaurant stated in its post.
They encouraged customers to continue visiting and supporting them at their Goleta location at 5892 Hollister Ave.
The restaurant previously operated two locations, one on Milpas Street in Santa Barbara and one in Goleta, but will now serve customers exclusively in Goleta.
Los Altos Restaurant is a family-owned and operated business serving Jalisco-inspired Mexican cuisine.
The Goleta location at 5892 Hollister Ave remains open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., with weekend hours beginning at 8 a.m. Breakfast is served from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Customers can still enjoy the full menu, daily specials, margaritas, beer, and handmade tortillas.
