Los Alamos Brush Fire Stopped at Two Acres

A vehicle fire extended to a two-acre brush fire near Los Alamos Tuesday afternoon.

At 2:56 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Highway 101 northbound at Palmer Road. Crews arrived to find a fully involved vehicle and nearby brush on fire. 

A west wind was pushing the fire in light to medium brush. Responding crews were able to stop the fire at two acres and cancelled the response from dozers and aircraft. 

There were no injuries or structures threatened.
