A vehicle fire extended to a two-acre brush fire near Los Alamos Tuesday afternoon.

At 2:56 p.m., Santa Barbara County firefighters responded to Highway 101 northbound at Palmer Road. Crews arrived to find a fully involved vehicle and nearby brush on fire.

A west wind was pushing the fire in light to medium brush. Responding crews were able to stop the fire at two acres and cancelled the response from dozers and aircraft.
