Does anyone know where I might be able to find access to old phone directories? I am seeking the white and yellow pages from the 1980's, 90's and early 2000's.

Check the local libraries or maybe the UCSB library, they have local historical documents.

Yes, SB main library is the best place to start— or UCSB if that’s easier for you. But I’d begin at the main library on Anapamu.

I loooooove the phone book!!! A lot easier than wading through a web search. First thing I look at when I travel. Sadly, I recycle mine when the new ones come out. You could try calling 681-0000. That's the contact # for the current issuer of the SB phone book. I called them several years ago to correct a business phone number. A woman answered and was very thankful. They might be in Old Town.... Anyway
