On 02/16/2020, at approximately 2020 hours, LPD dispatch received a call from an RP stating there was a gunshot victim in the 500B N K/L Alley. Officers responded code 3 to the area and located a 23 year old male, who was the victim of a single gun shot wound to his lower leg. LPD Officers provided immediate medical aid to the victim. Lompoc Fire Department and AMR arrived a few minutes later, and the victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. He was treated, and later released. Further investigation revealed that several shots were fired at the victim, who was also with two others, that were not struck. LPD Officers are continuing to investigate. At this time, there are no suspects, evidence, or witnesses.
