On 07/10/2025, at approximately 1803 hours, LPD Officers arrested Van Nuys, CA resident Jennifer Hurtado, for felony theft at Ulta Beauty in Lompoc, after she stole over $1600.00 worth of merchandise from them.
Store management called the LPD while Hurtado was leaving the store and provided officers with the description and license plate of the vehicle she was driving. As officers were arriving, they witnessed the vehicle and conducted an enforcement stop.
Hurtado was found to be in possession of the merchandise she had stolen from the Lompoc Ulta Beauty as well as merchandise she had stolen earlier in the day from the Goleta and Oxnard Ulta beauty stores. In total, over $7,600.00 worth of stolen Ulta Beauty merchandise was located and seized by LPD Officers.
Hurtado was arrested and transported to the LPD jail where she confessed to the thefts from Lompoc, Goleta, and Oxnard. Ulta Beauty management advised that Hurtado is a suspect in multiple thefts from the Ulta Beauty chain in different cities and states, with losses amounting to approximately $152,000.00.
