Lompoc Police Arrest Four People During Inspection Warrant

Summary:
On October 30, 2024, at approximately 8:45 a.m., Lompoc Police Department, in collaboration with Lompoc’s building and code enforcement divisions, executed an inspection warrant at two properties located at 438 South “J” Street and 215 West Locust Avenue in Lompoc.

These residences had previously been “red-tagged” and posted as unsafe for occupancy or entry. All occupants were ordered to vacate the premises, yet this order had been continuously violated.

During the inspection, LPD discovered four individuals within the dwellings. All four were taken into custody, with details as follows:

• Quentin Smith, 44 years old: Charged under Penal Code 148(A)(1) for resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer.
• Cassidy Kenworthy, 40 years old: Arrested on outstanding warrants and for possession of a controlled substance (11350 H&S).
• Sueko Miranda, 37 years old: Charged under Penal Code 148(A)(1) for resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer.
• Kirk Polchow, 34 years old: Charged under Penal Code 148(A)(1) for resisting, delaying, or obstructing a peace officer.
The properties were later boarded up and Do Not Enter or Occupy placards were posted again.
