  1. WHY, if they KNOW who is a gangmember, are the gangmembers allow in Taxpayer funded section 8 housing, when there are hard working families who play by the rules waiting for housing…?
WHY are they receiving Food Debt cards from the State…
ALL taxpayer subsidized programs except work-programs or JAIL should be eliminated from ‘bangers lives.

  2. First off, it’s not illegal to BE a gang member, just to participate in any of their illegal activity, and there are plenty that are trying to remain out of trouble. And I hate to say it but considering that this is a subculture replete with entire nuclear family structures, the moms are likely married to gang members. It’s just a world we don’t understand but these ethnocentric comments are certainly not helpful.

  3. Correction, Pebble. To get jumped into a gang you must commit illegal acts of increasing severity: graffiti, vandalism, extortion, protection rackets, shop-lifting, drugs, fights, knifings and other acts of grave physical violence. That is the gang culture. Those are the values. So yes, it is illegal to be a gang member because illegal acts are required. to join.. Get over splitting semantic hairs belonging to a gang is “not illegal”; but illegal cats are mandatory for gang membership. . This is not a “nuclear” family structure – it is a nuclear toxic waste dump and these gangs do not belong anywhere in this country.. Anyone looking for a “nuclear gamily” substitute need look no further than the Boys and Girls Clubs or any other numbers of legitimate youth organizations that are positive and supported generously by our local community.
