Members of Toastmasters area clubs met at Log Me In Cafe, 7414 Hollister Ave in Goleta on Saturday, February 23rd for a lively competition to win awards in the International Awards and Tall Tales Awards categories. A large group attended the early morning event to give their best pitch for award consideration. 

This year's winners in the International Contest were Al Gibson, Mission Chapter Toastmasters, Joy Kelly, Santa Barbara Toastmasters Club 5, and Patricia Dorio, Whitehatters Ovation Toastmasters. The Tall Tales Contest winners included Vinita, GoToToastmasters, Shannon Miller, Santa Barbara Toastmasters Club 5, and Emily Yurcheshen, Unity Toastmasters. 

Toastmasters International is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills through a worldwide network of clubs.
