Legendary singer-songwriter Bob Dylan is heading to Santa Barbara this summer, bringing his iconic voice to one of the region’s most celebrated outdoor venues.
Dylan is set to perform at the Santa Barbara Bowl on June 17, 2026, according to the venue.
He will be joined by Lucinda Williams and Her Band, along with the John Doe Folk Trio as special guests, adding to a lineup that blends contemporary folk and Americana influences.
Gates will open at 5 p.m., with the event scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. Ticket prices vary by seating area, ranging from $63 for select areas to $243 for floor seats.
Pre-sales of tickets will be available online through AXS, the venue’s official ticketing partner. General ticket sales will begin March 28, 2026, at 10 a.m.
Organizers have set a purchase limit of four tickets per customer, adding that any order exceeding the limit may be canceled.
Tickets will also have a transfer delay, and resale options will be available through AXS’ official website.
Dylan’s Santa Barbara performance is part of his North America tour, which will see him perform across the country this year. He is scheduled for seven stops in California, with Santa Barbara marking the tour’s only Central Coast appearance.
The other California stops include:
- Lincoln: The Venue at Thunder Valley, June 12, 2026
- Berkeley (two nights): Greek Theatre, June 13 and 14, 2026
- Highland: Yaamava Theater, June 18, 2026
- Palm Desert: Acrisure Arena, June 20, 2026
- San Diego: The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park, June 21, 2026
The stop at Palm Desert will mark Dylan’s return to the Coachella Valley since his performance at the Desert Trip festival in 2016.
Described as one of the greatest songwriters of all time, Dylan is widely regarded as a cultural icon.
Born in Duluth, Minnesota, on May 24, 1941, he developed an early interest in music and played in several bands as a teenager. Influenced by Beat Generation writers and modernist poets, he developed a passion for American folk music and blues.
His early work blended poetic lyricism with themes of social struggles and political protest, with love and religion as recurring themes in his songs. Since his debut in 1962, he has continually reinvented his music.
Over the years, Dylan has recorded multiple albums that have created a lasting impact on music, shaping generations of artists.
His contributions to music have earned him many accolades, including a Pulitzer Prize, the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2012, and the Nobel Prize in Literature in 2016.
Dylan last performed in Santa Barbara in June 2022 at the Santa Barbara Bowl. He has made multiple appearances at the venue over the years, including shows in 2019 and 2016.

Caveat emptor folks. The last time I recall him “performing” at the Bowl he was abour 45 minutes late on stage and spent about 52 minutes singing/playing. Left the state, no more show. No other performers. Better to buy a nice collection on LP.
