The power is out and transformers are exploding everywhere all over town and Montecito. San Ysidro at Olive Mill is impassible with a structure fire near the 1200 block of Hot Springs Road. Residents in the Eucalyptus Hill area are seeing an orange glow in the sky.

Numerous homes destroyed on Hot Springs, unable to tell where the structure fire is, possibly Park Lane Road? Hearing of numerous gas leaks and a lot of water near Montecito Country Club. Olive Mill is completely shut down, unable to pass.

Roger the Scanner Guy is experiencing a power outage and will have delayed updates. Edhat readers can add updates in the comment section.

Thank you, Roger. I'm glad that you are devoted and strong, and are able to tell us the news. It must be difficult for you. I feel so sorry for the victims, their families and friends. Sad.

I woke up hearing engine 2 Leaving the fire house at 3:45 rain was pouring down hard pitch black I couldn't see only hear I turned on one battery powered scanner and heard members of the Eucalyptus Hill Assoication talking about a huge orange glow from up in the hills all the way to the ocean...? And I thought it was the Thomas Fire burning again? It was a gas line rupture and structures burning there was no way the fire department could get to them...
