The road closure due to roadway cracking was a separate issue. The call of Shots fired at Red Rock came in at 7:30 pm. The incident was actually at the Fremont Campground (not at Red Rock). The chatter was – shots fired, possible gang members, 10 people held, 3 held at gunpoint, 2 helicopters responded w/fire and medics, clearing all vehicles, etc…
Outdoorsy gangsters LOL!
Wait a minute. According to the CHP, there was a hard closure of 154 starting at 4:54 PM yesterday.
Did you get the wrong time?

Yes, yet they allowed traffic for First Responders for this call Saturday, at 7.27 PM.
I sure am glad I have a place to hole up in, safe and alone. What a shame this story is.
