Yet another victim of the drought. Our large oak fell because of rot, very sad to see. Big thank you to all WCC neighbors who helped!

So sad to loose a beautiful oak. You have my condolences. Although many think the drought is over, it's not, just relieved a bit.

My sincere condolences. My "personal" tree loss was the CA Bay tree in the island just past Via Regina while heading home on Old San Marcos Rd. after Painted Cave fire. Not to mention my old house and my best friends' homes. I don't have the article, just a photo from SB News Press of that wonderful, beloved Bay lying across the SB-bound side of N. San Marcos. Of course, feel free to correct my location info. lol. Caption to photos says: "The CA Bay Tree, above, believed to be the largest of its kind, was damaged in the fire and had to be removed from an island near the bottom of Old San Marcos Road."
