Keep Your Belongings Secure This Holiday Season

The City would like to remind Downtown patrons to keep their cars secure while shopping this holiday season. By taking some simple precautions, you can ensure that your gifts remain yours!

To minimize your risk of becoming a victim of theft:

• Remember to check all windows and doors to make sure they are locked before leaving your vehicle.
• Activate your security system.
• Place all valuable items out of sight or keep them safely locked up in the trunk.

You are encouraged to call the Police Department at (805) 882-8900 if you see suspicious activity, or dial 911 if you see a crime in progress.
