Does anyone know what this little black box is on top of this PVC pole? It’s about the size of a half a shoe box and has the company name of “NDS” on it. It’s obviously temporary as evidenced by the Zip Ties holding the pole to the Stop Sign pole.
This one is located at the corner of Garden and Victoria Streets. We have seen others around town, both on the Eastside and the Westside.
Maybe it’s some type of measuring device, data gatherer, communications, relay or? Any insight would put my mind to rest. Thanks.
