As part of a continuing investigation resulting from the arrest of Zachary Coughlin in May and pursuant to a search warrant, detectives from Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Bureau and an investigator assigned by the Santa Barbara County District Attorney’s Office, began reviewing digital media storage devices found in Coughlin’s possession during his arrest.

Upon review of the content, investigators discovered numerous photographic and video files that appeared to be potential sexual assaults by Coughlin upon several women. Investigators began working to identify the potential victims, so they could be contacted regarding the investigation. As a result of the further investigation, detectives believe that Coughlin has committed sexual assaults upon two women who have been identified and contacted.

  1. Sometimes mob justice is best. If the guy somehow gets out I’d like to see this clown get swarmed and pummeled by a public mob, and left next to his shit-tastic van to die. Perhaps someone could set the both the guy and the van on fire. I’m sorry, but that’s what I really think given what he us and what he’s done to others. I know that’s not going to happen. I do realistically hope however he’ll get sentenced to the 20+ years in the Penitentiary he deserves, and soon fall victim to one of his fellow inmates, and die a quick death, so taxpayers don’t have to pay for this evil person to live any longer.
